3E is an internationally leading expertise company active in all domains of renewable energy and energy efficiency. 3E was established as a spin-off of IMEC.  It acts as a gap-bridging company between RD&D centres and the market place to provide professional solutions for a step-wise evolution to a performing sustainable energy system.

• Plan resources (project engineers and financial resources)

• Conduct technical studies (diagnostic, project analysis, dimensioning of alternative systems) and feasibility studies
• Design and provide technical-economical analysis of sustainable energy concepts and innovation strategies for buildings and urban districts with a focus on technical installations
• Follow-up building realisation in cooperation with architects and construction enterprises
• Apply monitoring tools to validate the energy concept in operational phase
  

• Degree in engineering (thermal, electrical or construction engineer) or equivalent through experience
• Knowledge of energy efficiency in buildings
• Five years or more relevant experience in HVAC systems; field experience is a must
• Knowledge of thermal building physics analysis by means of dynamic simulations is an asset
• A clear interest in renewable energy and energy efficiency issues
